4 Month ago, in Australia Immigration

HI. I studied cookery in Tas Hobart and i enrolled a 2 years programme in one of a college However i changed the education provider after 9 months due to their poor education quality. The previous education didnt give me enough credits transfer ( i have good attendance and all units are satisfactory indeed). Consequently, i need to repeat the course in a new education provider. So i lost 9 months! By the time my student visa expiry. I can only finish commerical cookery Cert IV. Can i use that to apply Visa 485. Since i do study in Aus for 2 years and i notice that Visa 485 does not need a diploma to apply for. Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately, you need to have a Diploma level qualification for the 485 visa. You will also need a skills assessment in the occupation of chef to get the visa.
